Crafting-It's in my Blood!

I haven't 'blogged' much lately, I guess I just haven't I figured out what I believe to be 'blog worthy' yet. Although I do have this online shop on Etsy.com that I have yet to introduce. I will do that now...My shop, Robyn Graves: Accessories for the Unique can be found at www.robyny83.etsy.com. Here I sell OOAK resin pendants featuring iconic images of art, music, and films of the rather HORRIFIC and OCCULTIST type. Every Item is handmade by yours truly.

When I was young, my mom and I were always doing some kind of crafting together, she was so creative and curious to see what she could do herself, and I followed in her foot steps. When I was about 8 years old, my mom, who was also a master horticulturist,  bought a kiln and started her own small ceramics business. She especially enjoyed painting Native American Ceramics, and covered our house in her own Southwestern creation! I  then started painting my own ceramics, but of course I chose things like dinosaurs and rag dolls. My brother even got in on the action and painted a really awesome GIZMO! He too, has always dabbled in art. Any how ceramics turned into candle making, poetry writing, playing clarinet, then bass guitar, clothing re-constructing, crochet, photography, and in 2008 Resin Jewelry! Since then I have been making all kinds of jewelry for all kinds of people around the world thanks to  the Internet. I have also been selling in person at Dallas' local Roller Derby bouts, and at the annual Horror movie convention, Texas Frightmare Weekend. Thanks to my amazing Fiance, friends and family members, I have big goals that I am striving towards to make this my full time occupation, maybe one day I will have to hire help :) Till then I am working hard, networking, and reaching forward everyday!
